As part of the registration fee the following activities comprise the social programme.


Sunday 6 September

For those arriving on Sunday evening there will be a small welcome reception. 


Monday 7 September

Conference delegates are free to explore the city on Monday evening, and find a meal in one of the many restaurants Cambridge has to offer. There will also be a "Boffins and Booze" Tresurehunt organised for the evening. More details on this will follow. 


Tuesday 8 September

On Tuesday evening there will be a Cake and Culture evening. This is where a giant cake made especially to commemorate 100 years of Rutherford Backscattering will be displayed, and shared among the delegates whilst being entertained by an aspect of traditional English culture


Wednesday 9 September

There will be an opportunity to sign up for one of three outings on Wednesday afternoon. There will be an additional charge of £20.00 for accompanying persons wishing to tale part in one of the trips.

The trips are limited in numbers and so if you are interested in a particular trip be sure to sign up when you register to avoid disappointment.

 

The Gala Conference Dinner will be held after the excursions at the prestigious Queens College in Cambridge. There is also a charge for accompanying persons for this dinner of £60


Thursday 10 September

Conference delegates are again free to explore the Cambridge on Thursday evening, and dine out in another of the City's fine restaurants
